Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge, created in 1880 by Louis-Alexandre Marnier Lapostolle, is the flagship of Grand Marnier brand. It is a premium liqueur that contains 40% ABV and combines the bitter essence of exotic oranges with the finest French cognac (51%). It has a very long finish and beautiful bright topaz color with gold and amber tints. This award-winning orange liqueur is closed in the iconic, highly recognizable bottle with the wax seal. It is distinguished by the red ribbon (cordon rouge), a symbol of its quality. Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge is meant to be used in fine cocktail recipes. It adds complexity thanks to the notes of cognac and introduce a surprising exotic touch with the orange distillate to some of the world’s well-loved classics, like Sidecar, French 75, Margarita, Mai Tai or Old Fashioned. It can also be served neat or on the rocks. Cordon Rouge is possibly the best known and prestigious French liqueur in the world.
