The Balvenie Pedro Ximénez Cask is a complex and richly distinct single malt which has been finished in casks that previously held Pedro Ximénez sherry. Pedro Ximénez is a white Spanish wine grape variety grown in several Spanish wine regions. The heat from the sun ripens the vines and produces a wine of intense, dessert-like sweetness. This is the second sherry finish expression in The Balvenie range of finishes.
